Autumn music, continued
Thinking about the season of turning, of the work of the harvest, of where we are now and where we’re going, I’ve been listening to these songs. One is about setting out in a small boat, sung in Irish, another talks about changes and has a really nice line about the colors of autumn in it, as well. The third speaks of open heart and commitment in friendship, and the fourth talks of becoming aware of unexpected beauty, in nature and in ourselves. The first two are sung by Cathie Ryan, the third is by Muireann nic Amhlaoibh, and fourth one is sung and written by Carrie Newcomer.
