If you’re looking for a gentle and very musical way to get in the the spirit of the festive season, Christmas Celtic Sojourn Live! will help. There’s both an audio CD and a dvd, with slightly different programming on each. Karan Casey, Navan, Robbie O’Connell, Fionnuala O’Donovan, Shannon Heaton, and others are among those gathered for what’s become an a holiday tradition in the Boston area, as Celtic radio show host Brian O’Donovan brings together an ever changing cast of musicians to welcome the holiday. Not all the songs are Irish, but many are, and the sense of sharing and good fellowship extends to all. Fine harmonies and good music too.

It is an annual event; this music was recorded at Christmas 2006. 2007's live concerts start on 13 December and run for several nights in Boston and New York, featuring.among others Alasdair Fraser and Aoife O’Donovan..
