creative practice: laughter

The most serious songwriters also sometimes have the best funny songs. That's perhaps a necessary combination -- you have to have a great sense of humor to be a good musician, and to stick with music as a career.

The best way to get technology into folk song is to recognize that there’s still the human touch, I think -- and I use the word touch advisedly about this song, Carrie Newcomer's Don’t Push Send.



Newcomer has recorded this song as a bonus track on her latest release, The Geography of Light.
