Creative practice: third sunday in advent

There's a balance, sometimes war, between the silence and solitude needed for creative practice and the connections and communion needed to create, and to share. Holiday season, and winter season, often put these contrasts into sharp definition. Finding interior silence, whether there is too little or too much of it going on around you, is one of the gifts and possibilities offered by the silences and the conversations of winter.
