Creative practice: taking notice

Looking through my change on a recent trip to Canada, I came across what’s apparently a commerative quarter. The design has a bearded man cupping a maple leaf in his hand as he holds it out to a baby, who reaches out for it. Words on the coin are Wisdom/Sagesse. An elegant and eloquent reminder of many things, and all on a coin in daily exchange. Thanks to the people who thought of this, and carried it out.
speaking of Canada, a great Gordon Lightfoot album is Don Quixote.
