creative practice: instruments


when you put your hand on a fiddle that’s been around a while, or a hold a tipper that’s beaten out some rhytyms in its own time, or take up a guitar which has been in a few sessions, it’s like an embrace, a two way connection of hand and heart. and it’s good to be open to that touch, and that teaching.
