No idea who, but these are great photos.
Great series of photos! No idea who they are, but I love to see musicians' hands at work. Nicely done.
Great shots and a very good idea for a theme of photos. It's impossible to guess whose hands they are although I'll try and guess the third set of hands on the guitar belong to Johnny Cash. Am I completely off the mark?
Maria,
not Johnny Cash, though this guitarist does live in Nashville.
I thought regular readers at Music Road especially might care to have a go at figuring out who these artists are, as I've written about each of them more than once, here and elsewhere.
Brette and Glennia,
thanks for the kind words. glad you enjoyed the photos.
You can almost hear the music with the sense of movement conveyed here.
I love your intimate look at hands. Very unique.
Great photos. Our wedding photographer took a close up of the organist's hands, which was lovely.
I stink at these types of guessing games, but I'm loving the photos. There's just something about pics taken at live music events that seems so visceral, and full of movement.
No clue. But great photos - so expressive and wonderful idea.
Photographing hands is such a good idea, and not just for musicians. We took some pictures of my husband's hands on my preggo belly and they look really good! As a photographer, I want to experiment with this more.
I love these photos...they offer a look at music from a totally different perspective. I'd love to read more about what was being played, the venue, mood etc. Very nice.
Your beautiful photos have inspired me to get closer when I'm doing travel photos. Thanks.
Your photos are beautiful.
